WARRANTY POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I. WARRANTY: THE SELLER will warranty the operation of the equipment, supplies and spare parts, if applicable, subject to the Agreement under the following conditions.
a. The warranty of the equipment will be against any manufacturing and/or operation defect, for a period of one (1) year. For printhead, the warranty is for six(6) months, which will be counted from the moment of its installation stated in the technical report after delivering the operational equipment and under normal operating wear (Additional information regarding warranty exclusion can be found in this document).
b. The warranty covers the electromechanical parts: electronic cards, servo motors, and sensors as long as they comply with the electrical requirements demanded by THE SELLER.
c. This warranty includes virtual and/or presential technical support, in the event of a technical inconvenience with any element(s) that causes the machine to not work correctly, it will be repaired or improved, as the case may be, the SELLER will assume the cost of the element(s), labor and expenses necessary to solve any damage in the machine when the repair is made in the equipment registered installation address; the SELLER will assume the travel expenses.
d. The SELLER’s responsibility regarding the equipment that proves to be defective within the applicable warranty period will be limited to its repair. In the event that the repair is not possible, the SELLER will replace the equipment with one of similar conditions and characteristics as provided in this agreement. In extraordinary cases and at the exclusive discretion of the SELLER, the equipment can be returned (Additional information regarding return policies, terms and conditions can be found in this document).
e. In the event of a defect or damage to the machine as consequence of one of the exceptions of warranty, the CUSTOMER must be responsible for all expenses for its repair.
f. The SELLER does not assume any responsibility during the warranty period, for damage generated to the goods sold, which stem from the mishandling of the equipment, carried out by untrained personnel. This being the case, the equipment sold must only be operated by a trained employee of the CUSTOMER who has received such qualified training from the SELLER.
g. In regard to the supplies and spare parts, the warranty will be against any manufacturing defect and will be revised by the technical department of the SELLER for approval.
II. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: Events or situations that may occur and that are previously out of warranty and whose cost will be borne by the CUSTOMER will be understood as the following:
a. The warranty does not cover the ink flow system: filters, pumps, hoses or ink ducts or dampers; or any part considered consumable in relation to different equipment. Regarding the heat transfers machines, the guarantee does not apply to the blanket, heating tube and conductive oil.
b. The warranty does not apply for damages resulting from mishandling. Damages due to mishandling are understood to be those generated by collisions with materials on the mechanical system due to excessive weight in the feeding and collection tubes, handling by third parties not trained to operate it; as well as for not following the periodic maintenance and care instructions reported by the technical department.
c. The warranty does not apply for physical or electrical damage (shocks, blows, damage from power outages) caused by the place where the equipment is located, by accident or force majeure.
d. The warranty does not cover mishandling by operators, or operating accidents. If there is no consensus, the technical staff will carry out an evaluation with the CUSTOMER to determine its validity.
e. The warranty does not cover services or repairs necessary as a consequence of an input voltage greater than 230 VaC, as well as in the event that the equipment does not have a ground connection and an electrical protection system, are not included in the warranty.
f. Regarding the printing equipment, if the CUSTOMER changes the supplies during the warranty period of the equipment, this situation will be understood as a cause of loss of warranty.
g. The warranty does not cover computers, UPS, or energy regulators installed and supplied by third parties or by the CUSTOMER or its suppliers.
h. The warranty does NOT cover damage caused intentionally or unintentionally by the operator or by the CUSTOMER any internal or external agent malicious software, malware, virus, spam, spyware or any other that affects the operation and communication between the PC and the RIP software of the equipment subject of this Agreement , if such a situation were to arise, the expenses derived for the repair in these events will be the full responsibility of the CUSTOMER, even if the equipment is in current warranty period.
i. The warranty does NOT cover the damage caused by the transportation from the SELLER’s warehouse to the address provided by the CUSTOMER. Damages are understood to be dents, spills and other consequences of mishandling by the third-party providers of the shipping service, even when the SELLER provides their accounts for the shipment, these damages must be claimed to the insurance carrier company that delivered the products.
j. The SELLER does not accept claims related to the compatibility and durability of the products manufactured or printed by it and will not assume any responsibility for defects or failures in the printed products. The responsibility for test and verify the compatibility of the products produced and sold lies with the CUSTOMER.
k. The SELLER makes no warranties or guarantees on our solutions for any specific application or use. The CUSTOMER must evaluate the suitability of an individual component (or a portion) or complete integrated solution to meet their individual application requirements.
l. No claim will be made against SELLER outside of the warranty period specified in this agreement. If CUSTOMER discovers within the applicable warranty period a failure of the Product to meet specifications or a defect in manufacturing, which cannot be remedied by telephone with SELLER’s authorized technical department, CUSTOMER must notify SELLER in writing. immediately. In no case will such notification be considered a guarantee after 12 months from the date of delivery.
A. When the equipment is repaired in compliance with a warranty, the SELLER must issue a report of the same in which the description of what was done, the parts replaced or repaired, the date on which the repair was carried out.
B. The SELLER recommends the CUSTOMER to have an immediate repair kit in permanent stock that can be used during the warranty process.
C. No representative, distributor or other person of SELLER is authorized to make any representations or statements that are inconsistent with this agreement, limited warranty or product specifications. Such representations or statements are void.
III. RETURN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Returns of the equipment are not accepted after 30 days of having been installed. If the CUSTOMER decides to return it before this period must consider the following conditions.
a. The product must be returned in its original crate to guarantee its safety during its transport. If the CUSTOMER does not have it, they must return the equipment in a crate with the same characteristics (wooden box).
b. The CUSTOMER must return the equipment in the conditions that allow it to be protected and prevent it from suffering damage during transport, such as:
– Machine fixed to the pallet
– Loose parts and pieces should be wrapped in bubble wrap and secured to prevent movement.
c. The product must be returned in perfect condition, completely clean, with complete accessories and assured so that it does not receive damage during transport. The printers must be returned, with the headprint carriage immobilized, and free of ink in the hoses, heads, and ink tanks. The products and supplies used for these cleanings are the responsibility of the CUSTOMER.
d. In the event that the SELLER’s technician must go to the CUSTOMER’s premises to carry out the cleaning and preparation of the equipment for return, transportation, accommodation and food expenses will be borne exclusively by the CUSTOMER.
e. The CUSTOMER will be responsible for returning the equipment, assuming transportation costs and additional expenses incurred until the equipment arrives at our warehouse at the following address: 12605 NW 115th Av. B-110 Medley Florida. 33178.
f. The product must be received at SELLER’s facilities in perfect physical condition, with all its parts and in perfect working order. If this were not the case, the SELLER will determine the cost of the repair and this amount will be deducted from the total amount to be returned, so the perfect reception of the equipment is the responsibility of the CUSTOMER.
g. The SELLER will have 30 days from the time of receipt of the equipment for verification and approval of the return or determination of the cost of repair.
h. Under no circumstances will the supplies purchased by the CUSTOMER be accepted as a return by the SELLER.
i. The restocking fee is 20% of the value of the amount paid by the CUSTOMER for the product. In that case, the amount to be reimbursed to the CUSTOMER would be 80% of the value paid for the specific product. The SELLER will not be responsible for the return of additional expenses for installation and supplies.
